You'll find here under all the answers to the frequently asked questions for your stay at the Hotel Le Bayeux. 

What are the times for check-in/check-out ?

Check-in is from 3pm to 9pm. If you plan to arrive after 9pm, please contact reception at least 24h prior to arrival to advise them.

Check-out is until 11am.

 

Can I benefit from a late check-out / early check-in ?

This is subject to availabilities on the day of arrival. An extra charge might be charged depending on the request.

 

Is the Hotel le Bayeux adapted to handicapped people in a wheelchair?

We have two rooms adapted to wheelchairs and one dedicated car-park space. Please contact directly the property to check the availability.

 

Are pets allowed?

Pets are allowed with an extra charge of 10€/night. The request is not guaranteed until confirmation from the reception.

 

Is there an internet connection available?

Wifi is displayed freely within the property.

 

How can we pay for the room?

It’s possible to pay with cash, Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

 

Does the Hotel offer smoking rooms?

Our hotel is entirely non-smoking. In the case a guest smokes in a room, we might charge him the extra cleaning fees resulting from the smoking part to make the smell disappear.

 

Is it possible to add an extra bed in the rooms?

It’s not possible to add an extra bed unless it’s a baby bed (on request and with extra charge). 

 

Is it possible to add a baby cot in the rooms?

It’s possible to add a baby cot. There is an extra charge. The request is not guaranteed until confirmation from the reception.

 

Does the Hotel has a car-park?

The Hotel Le Bayeux has a car-park. There are limited car-park spaces so we can recommend you to contact us before arrival and book it. There is an extra charge of 10€/night.

 

Is it possible to leave luggage before check-in or after check-out?

It’s possible to leave your luggage with reception staff.

 

What’s in the breakfast?

Our breakfast is composed with: hot drinks, fruits juices, bread, croissants, home-made cakes and pies, cheeses, fruits, eggs, bacon, etc. Content may vary, depending on seasonal products.  

 

Is there a hair-dryer in the rooms?

All our rooms are equipped with a hair-dryer.

 

Are the rooms equipped with private toilets?

All our rooms are equipped with private toilets.

 

Are there any good restaurants around?

We have quite a few good restaurants in Bayeux. You can contact the reception to have more information and they will help you finding the one that best suits your needs.

 

How to know the availabilities of the Hotel?

How to be sure that the reservation is confirmed?

Once your reservation made, you’ll receive a confirmation email, showing your reservation is valid.

 

Why didn’t I receive the confirmation email?

First, we can recommend you to have a look in your spam folder. Then, if you still find nothing, that means that there was a technical issue during the process, keeping your reservation from being validated. A spelling error in the email address might be in cause too. We advise you to call us at +33 2 31 92 70 08 to check everything with us.  

 

I deleted my confirmation email by mistake, why should I do?

Even if you deleted your confirmation email, your reservation is still active. We can advise you to contact us and we’ll send you a new one.

 

How to modify or cancel my reservation?

You should first read the conditions of your reservation. Then, if the conditions allow a modification or a cancellation, please call us or send us an email with your request and we’ll do our best to suit your needs.
