Museum of the Battle of Normandy
Located only a few kilometers from the landing beaches, and just a stone's throw from the hotel, it is the only museum to devote 2,300 m² to the Battle of Normandy by presenting the various phases and military operations of the summer of 1944.
The Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy traces the events that directly followed the landing, the 77 days of fighting of the Battle of Normandy from June 7 to August 29, 1944.
It is therefore a unique place to understand strategic issues and approach the lives of soldiers who have clashed on Norman territory through numerous video projections, illustrated explanatory texts, presentation of heavy equipment, weapons, 'uniforms and various objects, original maps,' 3D plans' in 3D.
